FOR TEAM COLOURLESS: SHOT 20 Version 04 [+ ball prop]

Added shadows (in the form of ovals) and made a proper ball prop. The ball was originally going to be one block colour, but we realised that without some kind of indicator then the viewer wouldn't notice the ball spinning. Didn't want to be too complicated, so I added some grass/ dirt stains.
SHOT 20 (Version 04)
The ball prop
The ball prop was created hastily in photoshop, but is easily replaceable on my animation because the ball is a symbol. So, if the director decides to alter the design all I have to do is import it into flash and it will replace the ball symbol (similar to referencing in maya but in flash!)

FOR TEAM COLOURLESS: Character Design: Generic Background girl character Version03 [+side_view]

added a side-view at Sara (the director)'s request

FOR TEAM COLOURLESS: Version 03 of the Book prop [high res]

Hope this is high resolution! I smoothed a few things out too, like the text and outlines of the book. Also, I deleted the white background so it can transfer easily into flash without a bg. This picture is in PNG format.

FOR TEAM COLOURLESS: Version 02 of the Book prop

I redrew this so the pages looked more like a book and removed the unnecessary writing,
to make the "titles" more readable and clear

FOR TEAM COLOURLESS: Book design

Design for the book, the most important story-telling device so I wanted to add a little bit of fun in there. I also tried to blend the classic 'Self-help' book look (top-left) with the 60s feel that Sara wanted.

For Team OLD LADY: Prop design: coatstand and grandfather clock

Firstly, I did some research on the props. The rooms in Disney's 101 Dalmatians was a great place to start and colour was similar to the visual style we're looking for.
